Who am I?

Hi, I'm Megan and I use she/her pronouns. I am a board certified art therapist and licensed therapist in Missouri and Washington, DC. My expertise is in group therapy, intersectional identities, mental health, grief and loss, adapting to medical illness, and substance use reduction.

I was trained at The George Washington University's art therapy program and furthered my training in relational-cultural therapy through the Wellesley's Centers for Women, and continued diversity training through NCCJ STL, becoming a certified diversity facilitrainer.  In addition to being the Graduate Program Director for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's Art Therapy Counseling program, I teach group art therapy, research, ethics, practicum supervision, and more.

Through my decades of being a therapist and an educator, I am continually interested in walking alongside people as they gain insight, change behaviors, or understand their emotions better.
